..... had a toenail ripped off?

&^%$#&@ fluff, man. Lost about half of my right big toenail Monday night sparring at karate. Sucks so much trying to walk. Can barely *barely* put shoes on.

i had to stick a hot needle through my thumb nail once to relive the pressure after smashing it on a camping trip. that wasnt much fun

I had to have one of mine surgically removed, good thing I was out of work. The thing the doctor failed to mention is you have a lot of nerve endings under your nail, so the result is quite a bit of pain. It even hurt real bad to shower when the water hit my toe. I resolved this by showering with my foot in a bucket. Pretty funny looking back on it, but it helped :)

PapaSmurf -- yeah, I've had to shower w/ my foot wrapped in a plastic bag lol. Not ideal. But today's the first day w/o stabbing sensations when I put a shoe on.
