Last android update included a "slide to unlock" screen.

Anyone know where to find the setting to disable / remove it?

on Android Marshmallow 6.0.1 (on tablet not phone - but it should be the same)

Settings > Personal > Security > Device Security > Screen Lock > Choose Screen Lock (None / Swipe / Pattern / PIN / Password)

I hear that patterns are fun :P

You go to setting and open it> then select lock screen under the personal folder tab> then select screen lock>and you are there just change it to what you want it to do> can be swipe can be a figure 8 to open can be code number can be none>

Just use your fingerprint like everyone else.

My first smart phone my flip phone died and no one had one you could buy anymore so i got an ANDROID seems to work pretty good 4g and all, unlimited everything for 35 bucks> :)
