So per capita, the Netherlands is slightly better than Belarus and Cyprus, and not as good as Denmark, and not even close with Jamaica. :)

These are the dumbest stats I have ever seen.

The US is the most dominant Olympic force, with more than twice the trap metals as the 2nd place USSR. There is a limit a to how many athletes you can have in the Olympics as there is a limited number of events, this is why GB has almost as many athletes as the US this Olympics with what, 20% of the population?
