I missed some turns this set and messed up mid set with my growth also jumped 2 days to soon thinking I might not get the chance to do it later instead of finishing 350m nw across all 16 I finished 245m :( shame how such few small mistakes impact so much later on oh well I held all mine in top 50 could of FA'ed 2 of them into top 10 last minute but OCD wouldn't let me.

The only way to play the game in FFA is to treat it as if each country is its own entity, meaning each country should aim to get as high as possible in networth. Thats when the game goes from being a Joke to something more (even then, since the arrival of the bots, it is quite easy to get 6-7 or even 8 Billion total networth). This means average networth is more worth than having 1-2 countries with high networth, then rest being crap compared to the top countries.

I must admit I have fallen into that temptation a few sets myself though, just for the glory of getting a few top ten countries. , which in the end didnt mean much more than some added statistics to my records :) .

Yeah you are probably right - I miss the old days. No idea why everyone feels the need to self-farming/land trade threats for buying or selling on the market...Just seems like everyone likes the easy way out.

I didn't self-farm/land trade, I destocked on 50k acres x 2 top 10 was satisfying until the threats came lost interest the last week no motivation to keep playing tbh.
