japan has a navy sure, but i believe either their constitution or perhaps the surrender agreement (whats it called?) severly limits them in the ways that they're allowed to use it?
perhaps someone could clear it up
my point was that if they tried this fluff on a country with a traditional navy, that country wouldn't stand for it and the seashepherd would be laying on the bottom of the ocean. basically, exactly what happened with the pirates in/around africa.
sorry cerberus, i can't make out what you were saying with the mutliple 8 year old penises you have in your mouth. herp derp obama! libruls! go fark your mother you yellow belly coward
Surrender Treaty. They are only allowed war ships for self defence, not allowed to operate them in an offensive capability and were only allowed a limited number, that agreement however was broken a long time ago so does not really cover this situation.
Seasheperd also harasses Norways or Finlands (can't remember which one) whaling ships who try to partake in legal whaling as well, so sorry bro your argument is kinda invalid.
Japan has tried to operate legally through out this whole thing, its all a matter of pride for them, they are being told they cant do something which they have done for years, sure not this far out from their home land, but it is part of their culture to them, so who are we to tell them to stop when we slaughter animals ourselves?
I don't believe Japan would sink those boats at all cause it would hinder their position at the UN. Hell the shesheperd, including that hippie fag kiwi who built that really fast boat, attacked them, boarded them and insulted them, and they did nothing, sure they arrested him but they ended up letting that guy go to which the Japanese people were not happy about.
Also on a side note, if you donate to greenpeace to save the whales, only about 10c in every dollar actually goes to the cause, just an FYI>
