No wonder there's not many new players lol. If you don't start right on time, get lucky to stay out of crosshairs, it's an objectively unfun experience to be in primary.

I think most of the pushback on this is the top players don't want to actually fight someone. They've gotten soft farming bots in alliance and just want to attack countries with 1m turrets instead of someone how can fight back.

Maybe primary isn't the right server for me, but as a returning player, I don't see how anyone would want to try to learn this game, especially if they start a day or 2 behind.

For the humanitarians thing, I struggle to understand how a country at 6-7m NW can attack me at 1.8m NW and then I can't even try to poison food supplies.

This is my first set back and I lost like 600 acres last night to a guy I can't even hit back now and even if I could, would probably be a waste of resources.

I started the set late, and I'm back to play for real, but I really think this would be a scenario where a lot of new players would just quit. I mean, I get it, i was more than 25% the size at the time of attacks, but it's still a 4m NW difference. It's not possible to defend yourself then. The GDI ranges get wonky as you go up.

I don't know what the answer is. Maybe it's adding a cap to the $ difference in NW? Like 1-2m max difference. Then, it would be actual war where the early and fast starters might actually attack each other instead of stealing land from tiny countries.

Then, this person attacking me would have to grow some stones and fight someone who poses an actual challenge :)

How is it possible that a country can attack me and then jump out of my spy ops range? I built high spal to retal with ops and it says I can't. That's dumb.

I mean, I played for like 1 year back in 2019-2020. SoF was allied with SoL vs LaF. I can't remember many people, except Tokyo, grumpy, boltar. I'm sure I'd remember more. There was this like 45 year old guy from like Wales or some fluff lol. A bunch from Jersey. I remember the SoF leader was this kinda pompous dude, can't remember his name tho.
