There's a guy whose country name is "Don Diego". This fool hit my defensive ally like 10 times in a row failing each attempt. So I hit him one time, then I log back on to this fool telling me he's gonna retal me 20:1 once he gets turns. I messaged him that he ain't Zorro here. And ding so could prove fatal.

Is it coordination? I've chosen to grab people based on them appearing in my news like that.

If they have an agreement to do it for each other I agree that would be for sure against the rules, but I don't think responding to your country's news feed like that is necessarily coordination.

Of course we all have well, or most of of us have done something similiar. Ok, lets even say, just me. I have done it. I think it is not really that complicated that aside from times things are excessive in nature, patterns, or very beyond the blurry lines of what is acceptable, or there is clear in game messages etc...... the main issue is if we come out and say something a little too direct or stupid about what we did, so really is a lot of common sense and sometimes a lack there of that can get one in trouble when at times otherwise it would have been fine. And im not implying that as the case here specifically.

I remember one set wayy back when I had a strict 1 hit policy. Some ass clown kept causing issues for 3 of my allies, so I farmed him. :) was big enough to do it easily and had enough common sense getting deleted would have been very unlikely with how I went about it.

I play Cruel #84. Zorro hit me a bunch of times but breaking GDI with him did not suit my strategy.

I didn't ask Cerb to do anything for me. The spaghetti swat team is all over me right now anyways xD

The contract cleaning bill from having all that jet rubble removed from my research district was a bit steep, though.

I think as in-game ally to someone (and I try and mix it up) I might be inclined to attack someone who was going HAM on them. I have in the past (and I think I was purpled, been a while) and that's all fine, mods probably ought to take a hard line, because it's otherwise impossible to police i.e. fellow clan-mates on other servers colluding via third party channels to gain an unfair advantage vs two players that happen to be allied, that aren't sharing intel, and one of them is basically defending their ally in order to protect their countries interests (if my D ally is getting farmed, then I'm losing defense, and I want that to stop). For that reason I didn't report WarShrike (#67) which seems to be Cerberus. Hit me up, I like a D ally that is FDP! 😅

However, I will admit that I reported Don Diego (#65) and Cruel (#84) as soon as I saw all the DH b/c that looks shady to me. I was told there was no cheating, so I accept that and I bought more turrets (but mostly jets, as everyone knows they are the real MVP for defense 😂).

I chatted in game with #84 and they kindly revealed who they were, and said that they weren't 'dishonest'. Their strat/play-style checked out (xalrons a few resets ago anyone?) I'm happy to take their word for it. I much prefer the laissez-faire approach where possible in this game, and it certainly looks like everything played out as one might expect.

As much as I like co-op for pushing min-max netting, I know that actions and consequences are what keep things lively; looks like #78 bringing some more consequences right now!

Yes it’s a grey area. I think if you hit them because of your loss that’s ok but to explicitly help your ally is where you have to be careful. That’s exactly what the guys used to get mad at ratski for.

Looks like cruel is receiving quite the onslaught right now though.

*not saying we had proof ratski cheated. But that that same pattern is what led to players finding his buddies play suspicious. Hitting guys your ally is getting retals by I mean.

Yeah should make sure who you are talking to before you send messages like that to me. Just caught me on a bad day. I get tired of people messing up my game for a land grab when there are 100 bots to farm in the game.

Yep you were correct in not breaking that GDI seal Alternate Universe. If you had HELLFIRE would have rained down on you. But your wing man made a mistake by talking down to me after he land grabbed me. He should have just taken the grab and remained quite. You never know how many players there are in game that are friends until they attack you and then you are toast.

Cya next round with a different name. So be careful if you land grab me it is still 20 to 1 retals if I break or not . Once my game is ruined I care not what happens to the other country.

Its jut a mind game to make the other guy tap me again so i can unleash all the attacks of any kind I want on the other guy. Some time it works and some times it does not.

I played like a bastard for sure. I always was trying to achieve some sort of finish though which is why I was careful not to break GDI until I was in hot water and began to fail bank jobs on a few folks.

If spaghetti western hadn't declared me his personal land farm for what he perceived as griefing, i could've made $20m-$25m maybe. Tech prices were undesirable though so it was rough.

This is a game with potential for both hostile and passive country growth and I do believe every player has the right to formulate a strategy using any and all tools available to them allowed by game and admin rules. I tried a new strategy this set, I had a blast doing it. The outcome wasn't the best but that's life.

Lastly ggwp to everyone. I found a lot of admiration for players ability to adapt and respond to such menacing behaviour. Haven't seen quite so many defence pacts go up so quick before.

Also Ugo, I played the first iteration of Xalrons where I tried to do like 10 grabs at once and boost for the retals but I got wrecked so I went for the hail mary and broke GDI with a very good player who completely ruined me after that.

The following set either he or another player used the name again and iirc played rep cash and farmed and boosted off like 5 players

That chump tried to step to the champ and got put in a bodybag. My attacks are reliably relentless, rendering wreckage of my opponents realms.
