Seems the tech market is lower than expected at this point in the set. Do you think that's because people are teching to war prep or because more people are teching as a netting strategy this set?

im doing both as usual. have some teching some buying it. depends on the strat for me.

I should be buying some tech here soon. So do me a favor, whomever is selling, keep it low and dump LOTS of Res, Bus, Mil, Strat and SDI. :)

tech works different here then in alliance. there it starts high and then drops slowly. here it starts a bit low- then goes up bout week 3ish when most are teching up, atays high longer then drops off hard with 2 weeks left - ( me thinks )

ZIP's got a point about slow starts .. playing 16 countries people don't play them as well as 1A. So the tech is kinda bought en bulk a bit later in the set. This set is even slower than most though. I'd say more techers

Tech is usually slow to start, drops a tiny bit lower as techers get in full swing. Then spikes when all the landtraders start wanting more tech.

So pretty much what ZIP said.

Teching has been, in general, the best netting strategy as well as a good warring strat. I see this only as a market correction.

Another factor could be the lower number of players this set, leaving only the better players who are more likely to be techer.

Techer may be a viable war start up strat but it's not a long term war strat .. more clans netting = more techers
