Just another example of how lop sided you have made this game...

I just spent 10 minutes and a tonne of resources breaking down a country from 2.2m troops to 50k. Before it would have been killed, but now, it logs in, and in a split second buys up to god knows what with the 1.5b cash it had on hand. Undoing any hard work that I have done in a matter of seconds.

Congratulations...you have made stonewalling so eaay, that its impossible for anyone to mount any sort of come back if they are behind the 8 ball. You might as well just give up if you dont get the FS :-P

So F*** U and the horse you rode in on.

it was 'implemented' by accident as a bug, now its being fixed

even if it does come in for ffa the plan was never 3 seconds it was 1 second

Still ridiculous. People can as of now play FFA in a war and use their turns in 10min or so. Doing so after the change will make it almost an hour...

i dont understand how you think making it 1 seccond instead of 3 secconds is justifiable

that still makes hitting take 5 times longer than normal. f that bullfluff. it already takes an hour to run my turns killing someone, i dont want it to take longer.

no one on FFA has EVER complained about the speed of kills. i dont understand the motive of even thinking about putting this change here.

do any developers even play this server? or read this servers boards?

People didn't complain, they bragged about it. It was a fun to try to beat the fastest kill. For what this will do to the game, just make it so when you click on the war room it takes you to the explore screen. If it ain't broke STOP FIXING IT!!!!!!!

Im gonna say, please don't change it. Even on the losing end of the war we are in, where this change only strongly benefits the clan we are warring, I say would far rather not have it.

ppl cried up a storm about how NBK killed them in 20 sec. till they figured out how to do it to lol

even 1 sec is rubbish. i don't have time to spend hours and hours trying to kill every day, in the hopes that i don't get walled...as it stands players walling within 30 seconds is becoming the norm, at least now if u are doing BR they will be a parking lot if they wall, with the change u wont be able to even destroy a decent amount of buildings. best case scenario they are mildly inconvenienced

damn, nobody has the time to spend playing this game, yet they'll jump the fluff on soon as they have to stonewall.

I don't spend all day on the forums guys. But these things do get addressed.

Please remember, the admins are trying to balance many competing priorities as they continue to develop this game. Some of the changes they implement may not be universally popular, but they are being made for a reason.

If you find that a change is made that you don't like, we encourage you to voice that opinion -- no change is irreversible, and we have active responsive admins who really do want the opinions of the community. However, we do require that those opinions be offered respectfully.

Posts of this nature have a real, tangible effect on how much time the admins spend developing this game. They're real people, and want to feel valued for the huge amount of work they do. As such, even a relatively small number of posts like this have a negative impact on the overall game.

Not only that, but posts of this nature are also self-defeating. The on-going discussion will almost always revolve around the negative comments made (rather than the issue at hand), and admins who read it are far more likely to simply disregard the opinion of the writer than they would be of respectfully given thoughts. Essentially, a post like this one robs its author of his voice in the process.

I'll be closing this thread once I make this post. I won't be handing out and bans for what was posted in here today, but I reserve the right to hand out bans for this type of content in the future.

If you wish to continue discussion on the topic of attack throttling, a number of other threads already exist where you can join in the conversation.
