Well, i figured it's time to post a retal policy for XI. a certain alliance will notice it is very familiar. we like theirs so we'll be adopting it for now. thank you, Focus.
our standard retal policy is as follows for unpacted alliances
1:1
2:3
3:5
4:farm/kill
special attacks and missiles will be dealt with on a case by case basis. if you are an established alliance or a 1 man tag that is contactable we will attempt to contact you before taking action. if you are untagged or solo tag that doesnt respond to contact attempts we will do as we please with your country.
additionally because some people are not aware of the issue with this:
if one of our countries is in GDI declaring war is NOT an acceptable circumvention of GDI rules. if you want to grab that country you can either buy up into range or deal with the fact that you cannot grab it.
we will take L:L retals on any grab done on our countries when the offender uses the declare war option to make a landgrab. declare war option is just that, declaring war, and we see it as such. not killing said country is our way of showing we care about your feelings.
the ONLY exception to this rule is if the offender is taking a retal on a GDI country and must declare war to take the retal.
anything not covered in this policy is subject to FA contact before action is taken.
