i just got in from getting some last min things, ice cream, took the kiddo for a burger, got mice for the snake, you know, the norm..

but i swear to god its the end of days out there..ok so;

saw 2 ppl pulled over, 1 cop closing down an intersection for reasons unknown, power failure at one major store (power basically NEVER goes out here) ambulance at one grocery store, my son and i almost got hit by some woman who ran a red light, TONS of reckless driving, and last of all, i saw a bus drive in a left hand turn lane just get out of his bus and walk away, WITH ppl still on the bus.

found some time to kill between main dish and dessert.

Pops dont come here man folks round here cant drive for fluff. Hell I hate driving on a normally day. Really do not like to go to work on rainy days. We got a website for locol news here called rickey stokes news (yes you can google it too) and I fluff you not when it rains 99% of the new posts he puts up are of wrecks. like 3-5 per hour it seems.

well sydney is known as one of the worst signposted cities in the world...

add 4.5 million people and a town planner who just went "fluff it leave all the roads 2 lanes or less,thatll fluff em"

add in a large % of Asian drivers and its a disaster.

And idiots who talk on their cell phone while driving don't help none either. That is why cell phones are one of the worst (yet best) thing's to ever come out.

I usually drive between 7 - 15 MPH over the limit and still have young girls driving past me like I was pulling an anchor down the road! :P

I can believe it. Most slow people are old folks, which I will get to that in a minute. However I have seen it all just about. A guy I work with was doing like 70-80 in a 50 right, well grandma who passed me had to of been doing 100 cause she caught up and passed him like he was sitting still.

However that's the only old person I has really passed me. Most do about 20 under. So I say when you reach a certain age and can not at least do the posted limit you don't need to drive anymore.

ROFL Well I got 3 tickets for speeding. If I had been anywhere but here I would of went to court. But pigs round here got the judges up their asses.


The first one the cop said I was doing 65 when my speedometer never went above 55, and I was in pack with about 5 or 6 other cars.

The second one the cop tried to say I was doing 74 in a 50 in the middle of rush hour traffic. I don't fluffing think so buddy, not with my kids and wife in the car with me. At 5 in the afternoon its hard to do 55 or 60 where he said I was doing 74. Plus if I had been doing 74 I would of hit somebody because these idiots get so packed tight it aint funny.

The last one the cop was sitting in a 40 and tried to say i was doing 52 in a 35. He started pulling out before I even hit the 35.

I have come to a similar conclusion. It's suicidal to drive around Orange/L. A. Counties, I don't feel like being stuck in traffic all day, or the possibility that some douche-nozzle might turn his/her vehicle into a weapon of mass destruction by simply getting behind the wheel and possibly killing someone.

It's so much easier to take the fluffing Metro Rail everywhere you need to go, save time, money and maybe even your life!

That actually happened here a couple years ago. Dude was driving drunk (no surprise as most hill billy rednecks do) and was trying to kill himself. Well he ended up hitting a van/suv (can't really remember what it was) of a guy who, use to play american football at the University of Alabama (as I recall), was on his way home with his wife and kids. Well sadly all but 1 or 2 of the kids were killed and I also believe his wife was as well.

And yet they still insist that an airborne bird flu virus is a bad idea. :shrugsshouldersandwalksaway:

The answer to driving in Los Angeles traffic is, to put the 'defensive' driving capabilities usually practiced in San Diego on the shelf, and proceed to the 'offensive' driving technique, (learned from at least 6 months of driving, observing and surviving the LA traffic. Freeways and surface streets ) otherwise known as assholes and elbows.. Ya only need to check your instrument panel when she coughs from running low on fuel.. And be sure your tires have plenty of air for those occasional side swipes. Amazing how fast you can find your car skidding sideways, leaving it open for a devestating broadside collision. Typical LA drivers would never be caught going there.. . ;o)
