See, you say he's got bad luck, but back before I stopped caring and Havoc got a lot better at netgaining, we had one set where we were competing and for every single country we had towards the top, he ended up one rank ahead of me.

He had the 9th ranked country, I was 10th.
He had the 24th as well, I had the 25th.
He also had the 26th, and I had the 30th (not quite the next one there).
He had the 38th as well, I had the 39th.

That set was so irritating. At least from my standpoint. I'm such Havoc thought it was fantastic. :P

I would agree with Havoc on this. It'd be like me saying I'm a better netter than most of the people in PAN because I pushed up 2 top 10s where many of them have 0 or 1.

At the same time, most of those guys have far better ANWs set in and set out than I ever have, like AndrewMose for instance. I'm up 2-0 on him in top 10s. But he's been playing in FFA for like 2 sets now and he's only 400M total networth behind me when I've played most of the FFA sets. Clearly I'm not the better netgainer.

At the same time, I doubt it really bothers you guys, because for the most part, you're a war clan, and I don't remember you guys ever really putting forth a full netting set.

I think it is possible, but nobody has bettered $272ANW in the past few sets. I think a few will finish above $300M ANW this set (not sure if they will have a top 10 though). After that is achieved the next milestone should be a $5B TNW set

300m ANW and $5b TNW is more or less the same achievement.

An increase from 4.8b to 5b is nothing. Thats just doing 4% better on every country.

That difference is like choosing to not go to the beach because u need to self-farm. That would get you that 4%.

Ok Drinks, so $5.5B would be the next milestone. I think a few people will hit $5B this set...Anybody out there care to predict a $5.5B finish? I think $6B is impossible without outside FA.

Edit: I guess if I ran 16 techers this set I would have had $6B, so I should probably think through my posts better. But this was a crazy set for techers.

Yes and No. If I had anticipated tech prices staying inflated, then you're right. However, I had anticipated tech prices sliding to 3kish by week 4ish, so 30-35kA was optimal.. but they never did.

Hindsight, yeah, more land would have been nice, but I can't complain w/ 4 300m+ Theo Techers and a 390m NW Demo Techer.
