I'm planning a trip early this summer and would love to solicit a local's perspective on what to see. Or others whom have traveled to Turkey?

If you're into drinking at all I'd have some raki, just because I like to try new things.

There is a lot of cool architecture, the most prominent of which is the Hafia Sophia. The Blue Mosque is another thing you'd want to check out there.

maras dondumasi (mind you I don't know the codes for some of the turkish characters I need but last two letters in the name aren't truly an s or an i) is a kind of ice cream that is famous in Kahramanmaras

Been to Anatalia a few times, did some tours of some old places...lol they were cool like some old ancient greek/roman ruins, nice clean beaches think marmaris or something like that was one place that was nice.
Was Very hot in summer and A/C seemed to never work all that well in most places.
