Maybe its a easy way to FA someone early in the game? You could send all your funds to the country selling tanks for 5k if you agreed to do it in some fashion! :D

You would basicly bypassing the FAing restrictions in game to give other countries unfair advantages.

Thats my guess.

But then again, anyone could put tanks up for 5k and make a ton of money. *shrugs*

the funny thing about this is that you can only put military up for 3 times your private market purchase price, so it is actually impossible to sell tanks for $5000!
