On PC I only play hardcore. I appreciate not having pink triangles everywhere and people die when you shoot them with bullets :p

I work 50 hours a week and have no problem throwing 50 bones toward EA for more BF3 content.

Close Quarters, Armored Kill, Aftermath, and End Game. Four expansion packs for just $50. Plus guns, double xp weekends, queue priority, etc.

I can go out to dinner with the GF and spend $100 for 2 hours of entertainment. Or, spend $50 on 4 expansion packs and get 100 hours of entertainment. Easy decision.

and crysk... good luck with that.. my buddy had 2 Geforce 260's in SLI and it wasn't good enough for BF3.

it'd be great if bf3 was cross platform playing, I'd love totag and bag you point and click warriors :P

Despy, DICE tried it, and the PC players, even the worst, pwnt the thumb players every time, in every scenario. There just is no way aside from super auto aim to have xbox/ps3 players compete against us point and click players.

I do not doubt that a PC player trying to play on Xbox would get smoked. But the average PC player of BF3 could beat even the best Xbox players cross console. The speed of the game on PC is just that much faster. Simply put, I can jump and with my mouse turn 3 or 4 full rotations before I land given my sensitivity. A console player likely cannot even turn once.

If you combined platforms you would have to shrink levels, limit the # of players and then overcompensate to keep PC players from making the game unplayable for console players.

Plenty of people playing all forms, just have to stick with to each his own.

I can't :-/ I'm an avid pc gamer and good at it, but it took me awhile to get the joystick down when we got the xbox last year. LONG while. I expect it depends on who the person is playin, I've been a pc gamer for so long, it'll probably take me years to catch up to match that skill with the joystick xbox gaming.

I mean, I play all of the call of duty games on my xbox. There is no comparison. Feel free to send a link of the best xbox/ps3 player vids. The ones I see are of experienced players mowing down people who hardly get a shot off because they cannot locate the target and aim fast enough to compete. In BF3, with 64 players, on hardcore. It's an entirely different game. 1 shot sniper body shots, 3 shot pistol kills, 2 shot support kills and 3 shot assault kills.

on board graphics.

I can run the game, but because the on board graphics card just barely meets the min requirements if it were stand alone, the game will be choppy

yep this summer when I get my bonus it is time to rebuild the comp. i am going to get a solid state HD too... my friends with those always load up BF3 twice as fast and get flags, vehicles before I even spawn in :(

I don't need ebay for a 260 lol... but I'd also need to upgrade my powersupply, and then I might as well get more memory too
