I'm glad you posted this. As an admitted grammar nerd (I'm a high school English teacher after all), I enjoyed this and I'm going to have to find a way to torture my students in class with this by making them find a way to diagram this sentence to show that it actually makes sense. ;)

You've got the right idea, and you used short enough words here that I think most people would gather the man-love relationship you're implying, but not perfectly correct according to the study, which if I remember correctly, was a Cambridge University study (or Cmgdabire Uvseritny sduty).

yep. I've generally found it to be true. Then again, I'm also one of those people that really has 0 trouble reading books upside down or at a 90 degree angle, if other people are looking at the same document. Other people apparently have trouble with that, so I never know if things like that are true or if I'm just a good reader.
