Yes there are responsible gun owners, but if you have so many responsible gun owners, that means there are a lot of guns in your community. You think most criminals buy their guns legally? Nope. You think these kids that shoot their schoolmates buy them from the store? Nope. The guns are taken from parents, stolen from b&e's, or sold on the black market because there are do many.
