#152 was doing aggr spy ops on me blid. I'm not fluffing about getting deleted, because I did assemble my friends to aid me, but only because I was getting teamed.

So, if my assembly was illegal then so is theirs. thats all...

Isn't that a lie? Didn't your friends aid you with a crap load of free land before any of this began? Also, the players attacking you were NOT coordinating with each other for each other's sakes or for any other country's benefit (as your buddies did for you), but were each individually angry at you for having landfarms.

Come on blid. Don't get technical, esp if you will not allow me to. I get that you are upset that I used landfarms. I get it. It won't happen again. But, there aren't any rules written clearly that say that it is against the rules. Correct?

So, I won't loop my way around a rule if you won't defend your stance by looping their actions around a rule.

They are breaking a moral rule, as am I. Correct? So, once again, the mods are not doing a good job. They:

1. Don't have clearly stated rules.
2. Delete first, ask questions later (Guilty until proven innocent.)
3. Allow a 'cheater' to live (IE the country that did the farming)
4. Allow people to team against said person, instead of doing what would be right by deleting said cheater.
4. Showing favoritism by only deleting one guilty party and not all parties, only after they realize the attacks against said country aren't working.

Okay, so let's just end this with: Just post the rules more clearly for newer players.

This is a solo server, plain and simple. If you and your "friends" lack understanding of the word solo, I'm sorry for you.

There are multiple threads stickied on this forum that outline the general rules. Also an entire Wikipedia page.

Reading comprehension is key.

according to all of you, I do lack understanding. I mean, I can't for the life of me understand why a 'solo' server allows alliances. Weird.

I created that country yesterday (which gave me full turns) and, today, sent a few espionage ops your way, then saw your market op and FSed the tech market by putting 10 tech points for each tech on the market for 50 turns at low prices. the rule is to the effect of you aren't allowed to coordinate your play with another country, for ones own or their mutual benefit (be it kill runs, landfarm, tech/offense leech, dr etc)

That is, however, my point. It isn't anywhere that I've looked. This is one part trolling, one part making a point. Can the rule be implemented if it exists, and can moderators not abuse their power. Can moderators give an explanation? If they cannot, they should at least say they cannot provide one at this time. They moderate the game for free, and have other, more important rl issues to tend to. I get it. But, in my line of work when a customer calls to complain about my company I don't just hang up on them or tell them that's how it is, you should know better! I give them an explanation or I at least tell them where they should have been able to read it.

it is obvious to us because we were actively part of the conversation as it was happening/being implemented. if he wasn't, and doesn't know of a thread from last year, then we can politely inform him of what he's missed.

as it stands, nobody has been able to find it i think is his point. i know the rule, but as i said above, i can not find where it's written

(the wikipedia is a joke, too, unless i have an outdated link?)

I'll give dittie that, it's not posted anywhere that I can find anymore. The wiki says that teamplay is not allowed in primary but nothing is mentioned for express.

i mean, there's a lot of things in life that you should be able to know without having to be told. having people give you free stuff in a competitive game probably not being ok is one of them. people crying about not being explicitly told about things like that so they can rules weasel their way around are a pet peeve of mine. they just make things more difficult for everyone, and create long drawn-out debates over self-evident things while they contribute nothing positive. dittie even said "this is one part troll and one part making a point." he knows very well what he's doing. even the non-troll part, the "point" he's making, is just that obvious things aren't spelled out in big letters for him, which is a worthless point as that certainly s houldn't be necessary.

and eric, i'm not really worried about this clown to be honest. I'm more speaking for any player that comes to this server without an honest idea of how it's played.

It won't be fair if they get deleted with no clear cut rules, wouldn't you agree?

I will say that I completely agree with you that dittie is just looking for any loophole he can grasp onto.
