i found this post in another thread to be particularly poignant and gripping. so i figured i'd create its own thread.

AQUA's response:
"I'm not so sure you know who the RED core were. Which most likely was even before you joined. Unless you somehow got back castejon and the rest to play."

The 'core' of any alliance changes over time. How many LaFers from 1998-99 are still active in Laf today?

About 10-15 I think. Maybe 20 even.

I just think that's a silly distinction that aqua was making. Qz has been around in Red/Evolution for a hell of a long time, and was in a leadership position for over a decade. I'd say he's a fkn 'core' member...

it is really dependent on what ERA you started playing in, what you know, and what you think you know.

Each alliance has their own history, do we all go back and compare? yes.

Alliances, Leaders, Members, they all come and go in most alliances. Mergers, De-mergers, absorbing, splitting, changing names, these things happen to 'most' alliances.

And to put my 2 cents in this argument, I think that once EVO appeared, it was a new alliances already. I don't think it's justified to claim that current EVO members are core of RED, when we all know that at some point before that, RED merged into somewhere...

Core is a very general word.

Each era has it's CORE members, and it really depends on their experience of the actual alliance. And I don't think it's right for anyone to 'CLAIM' the core of an alliance.

Unless your like LaF, where your core is still here since late 90s..

Erm...Red merged with Un4given to form Evolution. So yes, many core Red members are now the core of Evo...

The inner core of the Earth, its innermost part, is a primarily solid ball with a radius of about 1,220 km (760 mi), according to seismological studies.

reported for direct, offensive posts.

Also, if you do not understand the concept of time, please ask your partners.

And I raise this question, RD is the same name as the old RD, but are they the same core? Hell no. It's a completely different alliance.
