update: 5 dead and still no contact or anything. Guy then ABs my inactive clan mate. So I declare victory and open this guy up to anybody who wants to hit or use for missile dumpage. :)

The answer to THAT should be obvious, Marshal. As you gain acres, you need to gain tech to maintain desired levels yes? You either have to make it, by it, or gain it by successful land grabs.

Not to mention, it's NW :)

depends if stealing tech works same way as cd etc aka requires having alot techs originally to benefit from stealing.

apparently you think that that whom you stole techs won't retal you.

wasn't tech he stole,, did a land grab that took 8 mil food and a boat load of cash.

Then I retal the hit and he does the really stupid thing of killing my retal country!

So now we at war. I lost 1 so far, he lost 4 today. :)

marshal you Can get Big amounts from stealing tech. but yes you need to have someoof your own first

you only get retaled if you get caught :p

Stealing tech is a valid way to gain net, if you find someone who has a stockpile of tech and not enough spies to defend it, it works well. Also, the more tech you have, the more you get per operation, as mrford pointed out.

If you're dumb enough to get caught and aren't in the position to defend yourself, that's just the way it is. :)

I can see how this is going down, I've watched WILD in the news, and examined their builds. They're definitely a rough group. :)

I'll just check this out and see how it goes.

Tech stealing especially in war can be good. If you need to regain readiness and your countries are suited for it, why not steal tech? Benefits you and hurts your opponent while you regain. If you can find good targets you might be surprised at how much tech you can steal.
