i think most of us are old as #$%^ players, i started @ swirve or was it sanDbox, been so long I forget, but to be fair i only did about half of that actually in a "real" alliance. and the last 3 years i have only trolled, ( since retiring in RL, and moving ) i know many are here longer then me!

i think you get at something when you note that you only played half of that time in a real alliance.

to me, to be an old player you had to be either a head in the late 90s, a co founder of a real alliance before 2000, and/or a hao2/oldman style netter with wins and t10s pre 2000 as well.


so imho just because peeps were around in the 90s, doesn't mean much if they didn't really have much of a presence in the game

I'm obviously an old player but I'm not sure if I am by Vic's definition or not. I have a country from the oldest recorded round over at archive.org: http://web.archive.org/...m/earth/primary/final.htm
and I have a win in '99 and in Jan '00. But those were just in random games, I don't think anyone knew me or I had an "impact"
