Anyone have this pop up on them while on the EarthEmpires site? I'm not totally sure it is from EE but for like the 2nd time my virus protection popped up while on this site saying it found Adware.Adpeak

Anyone else have this happen?

We use google adsense; so do millions of other sites -- so we don't really control what goes up there, but people *do* try to sneak stuff into google adsense every now and again; usually it's fairly safe though, since it's probably the most-used advertisement 'agent' on the net

I've noticed a significant increase in the number of popup attempts and ad created links in the game system over the last few weeks. It's annoying as hell and I might actually have to do something about it soon. I'll search around for something to screen them out, and/or mitigate them, mask them or something.

If I can't find anything like that, then eventually I will retire from the game, I've played it pretty much long enough now anyway.
