Brady has always had a better overall team, Manning better receivers maybe, but OLine, Kicker (how many 17-14 or 20-17 games did Vinateri win for Brady??) and DEF- Brady always had the help! And the old cliche of "Defense wins Championships"
Most Patriots fans I've met from outside the obligatory "I'm from Boston so I need to be an asshole about sports" radius feel that Manning is definitely the better statistical quarterback, but playoff results don't lie. That's why last night's game SUCKED for people like me who make that argument! :p
But the loss of Talib was huge. Too huge to overcome :( As soon as he went down I knew the offence was going to need to score on nearly every drive. Didn't even come close to happening.
But if we had a healthy Wilfork, Talib and Gronk then the game would have been as interesting as the NFC game :p
