You mean 24 hours to play out the turns? I'd prefer it - time differnece means I lose the last 60-75 everyweek unless i want to get up at 4am.

Extra time to run off your turns. You could finish up at Sunday or you could hold the turns and use them Monday. Would give everyone time to finish and not have to wake up at a strange hour, but I wonder what else it might do?

would you be able to attack still? and sell goods on market or whatever? if yes then its no point, people will just start playing on late friday instead of late thursday, so playing time becomes sat-mon instead. everyone will start with 360(300) at least.

Every 3rd reset should start at 00:00, 08:00 and 16:00 respectively to cycle through the 3 time zones.

having to remember what time each set ends is gonna cost alot of people to miss the ends. lol

Except it displays when it ends at the Main Menu page. Can easily add something extra there too. And people that play Express stay logged in 24/7 anyway.

An easy way to implement this is to use the (Reset Number)/3 and take the remainder, to determine what time the server should start. An easy way to change what time a server starts is simply to start countries on 0 turns, -120 and -240 turns, and have the reset length be 1800, 1920 and 2040 turns respectively.

The problem is your suggestion is essentially just giving an extra 24 hours for people to market play/cheating/transfers.

Unless, you're saying that the only thing you can use your turns on past Sunday must be non-aggressive, and cannot interact with the public market (and private market size doesn't grow past midnight).

Nah I meant you could do anything you wanted during that time, and it would operate like normal game time, except new turns wouldn't be issued.

i don't stay logged in twenty four seven, not even close to it. in fact, once i'm done posting this i'm logging out, getting a glass of milk, and going for a cigarette. of course, that has nothing to do with the cycling of start/end times, i wouldn't particularly mind that very much, i don't think. it does make it more fair for anybody outside of north america :/
