the price of the SO doesnt matter as much as the age of it. if 3 people have SOs up for the same good, at different prices, and goods hit below all 3 SOs, the oldest gets it, not the highest. SOs recycle and reset age wise every 72-96 hours. since i doubt anyone sold food at $999 a $999 SO with 5 min to go in the set is worthless

there is a setting to auto buy from your PM and some players turn it off

i suppose thats another reason i think solo servers suck, they have been turned into netting sandboxes. fighting has all been run off these servers unless you work towards it.

netting for 2 months doesnt appeal to me, even though i did it last set in FFA. killing fluff does. I have a country in FFA that could win this set probably, but i stopped running turns a few days ago because its boring.

Yeah I can't imagine why anyone would ever play FFA, and it's a goofy server, but if ford won it I accept that he must be pretty good. Not sure how well it translates to other serves but my philosophy has always been if you're good at one thing you must understand the game well enough to be good at others should you try

i usually war on FFA, but i believe i have broken 1bill NW in my main 3 times.

some people go for the win, some people go for string ANW. both are coveted and recognized, because its a clan server so you play with friends.

Doesn't FFA have a problem with suiciders? I believe I've heard complaints about it before. Maybe you don't care? But if you don't like it, then I wonder why you come on Express server and ruin our top ten orders and winners by doing the fluff you do. Trolling haha yeah I know but really

there are, but generally war clans with no one to war will kill every untag and solo tag that hasnt declared. if you hop on the boards and declare your tag and ask for a DNH you are generally left alone though.

suiciders sometimes get you, but thats a risk you run while netting.

I have a couple countries worth over $10 sextillion NW in one of the alpha servers that I stopped running turns in like 4 months ago. I also won one of the alpha servers with over a septillion NW after killing 4 or 5 countries. See, I too can achieve much in irrelevant servers. You think solo servers are crappy? You know how I feel about alliance-style servers. You say netting sucks, I don't care much for suiciders and trolls either.

as for the express fluff, i usually do my buyouts within the last 10-20 min, so the risk of fluffing with the top 10 is lower than normal. honestly if no one fluffed i would probably lose interest. i also dont do it every set, i raerly do it 2 sets in a row, but it has been so entertaining around here recently i cant help myself.

Crest before I quit, I had the record for highest non aided rep casher, would have won 3 straight, had I not been suicided or FAed past, all legit countries, in alliance. This game isn't hard, it doesn't take skill to simply farm everyone below you, and hope no one retals/suicides you. It is even easier if you have a couple friends who are doing the same strat, that can all D and intel ally up, as long as you survive the first day or so of doing it, your production is so much higher then everyone elses that you can continue doing it till you hit your land goal, then stock for the next however many days and laugh your way into the top 10.

Stop pretending this game takes actual skill, my 3rd grade son possesses the necessary math skills to do well at this game.

Good still sell in the final 5 mins so SOs in the final 5 mins are still relevant. No one would turn off PM autobuy and put up SOs for food at $999 when they can buy iff off their PM for less than $350,....unless ofcourse you are mrford. uafoolbro.

that was a rare occasion that my buyouts actually effected the top 10. granted, recently that the buyouts have become public some top players might place overpriced tech in an effort to gain an advantage, but in general good players dont sell expensive as fluff stuff 10-20 min before sets end. my impact has been minimal in the broad scope, but the fluffing has been priceless.

now the people selling cheap fluff all set long is another story.

when the previous SO was for $200 food, higher than food has sold all set and goods usually take 20-30 min to hit the market so no one can recall and sell for higher, and you put a $999 SO up with 5 min to go in the set, yes it is fluffing worthless. for your $999 order to get anything, all the orders below yours would have to be bought out, or randomly 30 minutes before sets end someone would of had to sell food for higher than the next highest order which was like $250, even though at that time food was on the market for $45. if you cant understand this then you have a problem. the people that were upping the SOs from $100 to $101 to $102 were also worthless. trust me, i play that worthless server called FFA and the only way to get to 1bill NW is through tech transfers and SOs and buyouts. i know the market better than you, trust me.

as for the auto buy, not everyone only plays express. people that play alliance servers sometimes turn off the autobuy because it benefits alliance mates. if your breaker has jets on the market for more expensive than your PM, but he needs them to sell before he can buy oil, you want to buy the public instead of the private. i know this is hard for you to figure out, but express isnt the center of this game, its actually the smallest server. i dont ount tourny, because tourny is worthless.

So it is acceptable and expected for entire alliances to suicide on any other alliances in FFA and war them for absolutely no reason. Good to know.

war clans kill untags and solo tags that havnt declared because more times than not they are suiciders out to get revenge on someone. 9 times out of 10 they are killed before they get to suicide. its no different than if someone started killing every suicider on this server, except that isnt allowed because of coordination. would you complain if all suiciders were killed on this server? that is the exact opposite of anarchy, thats restoring order. i feel like we have a language barrier here or something.

Why are you talking about jets when we are talking about food? Dense much? What you don't understand is in the past I was know as a Demo specialist. All I did was play the market on this server. If a CI can run 360+ turns in the last 5 mins of a set, you bet your sweet ass I'm looking into how to profit from that, I used to place food at a few dollars less than they ever could put it from their PM after accounting for taxes. You talk like this last set is the only set that matters? Every set is different, and every market is different. Just because a specific set of things didn't happen last set does not mean they cannot happen. Do you get it now? Or am I still talking above your pay grade?

yeah, solo tags are tags with just 1 player in them. there are plenty of solo tags that play the entire set without being fluffed with, because they declare their intentions. the ones that dont are viewed as suiciders and delt with as such.

And don't think I missed your reference to shutting off PM auto-buy so that your friends, other countries can get you to $1 billion NW. I have a life so will never play FFA. Buy if I ever did, I guarantee you I would invent ways to play that market that would live you,.............#mindblown.
