What is or was the EC server... Just curious... :)

think current alliance. the only difference was instead of martian doing the mod duties it was a "council" of former earth players. the mods were mickster, patience, raves, and I think a couple others.

ec was earth council (before um aka user moderated) where mods (mickster, patty, raves. ladygrizz (hence her saying in my sig) etc tried to keep server multi-free (wishful thinking to achieve 100% but at least some (idiots) got caught), basically same as whole ee-game is now but with worse tools.

old ffa which um/ec replaced was multies paradise, some ran thousand of countries with help of bot or by hand.

um/ec basically replaced alliance...

technically yes since old 1a tags moved to there after some sets and before that there had been only/mostly old ffa tags and alliance became server for small alliances.

also the 1 country per person thing. ffa was technically 15 per person for the non multi runners
