i fluff the bed, i had like previous resets seven billion dollars worth of food.
just this reset nobody buys it out, so i finish at like.. whatever nw and fifteenth.

Every so often there's a commie set like that. No turrets and jets below $155 or so, tons of bushels. When you see that you have to buy out your PM troops and tanks at about 8 or 9 hours before the set end. I'm surrounded by commies with The Celts.

What do you mean? Who buys out their private market troops/tanks with 8 or 9 hours left and why?

not sure about eight or nine hours left, but always when i first cash to 2bil and food is at like nineteen thousand dollars a bushel i rather spend 600mil on troops, and continue cashing down from there, rather than loosing all that money reselling nineteen thousand dollar bushels back at 35

also you can incur the cost of the upkeep of the troop, which is minimal compared to turrets or tanks, place them on a market that won't sell, and not further cost you that amount of bushel use per turn

(but then those units do not defend you, which has ended up hurting me in the past :P)

So you mean cashers? And what is the strategy behind it?

My reasoning is that troops at $121 and Tanks at $493 on my PM are more valuable than $155 turrets and jets on the public market. When public prices are high, like in this set, I want my PM troops and tanks to regenerate for a second buyout at set end. I also put them on the market to avoid the food costs and keep my weapons tech up usually.

And yes, thats for rep cashers

better to buy out/less a billion dollars you're otherwise holding worth, and then lose whatever that cost per turn is from your turns there out (121 a troop is a good price, when a few hours later your option might be 199/212/1025 off the public after you bought out your private and didn't leave time for it to replenish and now your nw/b is a joke)

Cashers have a big buffer for making money cashing while holding a high NW. I buy any turrets and jets going below $120 from turn 1600 onwards.

No problem blid, I didn't explain it very clearly at first. Anyway, sets like this one are pretty tricky. You can get burned on the bushels and on the PM buyout like I've done many times and it sounds like a few others were this set.
