Anyone know about gigabyte Mbs?

So i took my CPU outside to get dust out, i used my air compressor to get it out
brought it back in and nothing happens now when i power up all the LEDs inside light up stay lit i get NO beeping or anything i disconnected everything and took the cmos battery out for 12 hrs hoping to reset it still nothing it doesnt even make it to the BIOS screen

its a
Motherboard GIGABYTE GA67A-UD4-B3
I7 Sandy Bridge 2600 OC'd to 3.8GHZ watercooled.
4x4GB GSKILL DDR5
Dual SLI NVIDIA GTX 670
Corsair TX850 PSU
2 1TB hds (shouldnt matter with this issue)

the only thing i can think of is, the moisture of the compressed air got to the MB?

I get nothing but leds watercooler and power to the GPU fans on the vid cards

any ideas?

all the LED lights at the top of the board stay lit they ususlly dont on a normal startup.

Thanks!

water is in an air compressor tank just because the nature of how they work and the changing pressures. it takes the humidity and condenses it, and it pools at the bottom of the tank. when you use high pressures it stirs that water up and some of it sprays out during use.

unless you open the drain plug after every use, you will have water in the system, especially since you live in a humid area of the US.

you should of bought a $3 can of air ment for this!

hell, i have a fluffty little 2 gallon electric oil less pancake compressor that i use for airing up tires and fluff when i dont feel like firing up the shop compressor.

ill bring that thing up to 100 PSI, and use it for like 15 min airing up tires or blowing something off, and when i loosen the drain plug to let the air out (i use the tank so infrequently i dont keep pressure in it) and when its venting pressure you can see water dripping out, from that one short use.

yeah it was my first time using it i wanted to use it it was a christmas present from the gf i let the air out and i saw the moisture come out thats why i had this theory why it happened.

if you're blowing air into it, or sucking air out theres a decent likelihood of knocking components out :/

check connections ... especially RAM sticks - those boards get very pissy when RAM is not fitted 100%, or if the RAM has failed

is this a thread about Geats, Geeks or Greeks ?

I just asked John, he said it may be water or trash, had been blown into the processor environment.

He also says that unless it is a deluge of water, like spilling a cup of coffee, that most mother boards can handle a burst of dampness, because they automatically attract moisture anyway. Even the little dust cans compress moisture if they blow long enough as the can gets cold.

Hey ya'll, this is John. Open it up, and clean your core. reapply some sealant to the core block and retry. If your LED'S are lit, then it's circulating power thru the system, but its not able to decide what to do. Most likely trash had been blown to the core or, theres a bit of trash hung up on the MB causing it to misread an application to proceed to start up. Try it and see.

Also check your core towers for trash. Even though they dont conduct process energy, they do process the heat away from the core, and they are very fragile as Akula mentioned with the sticks. If they are bent, they cant move the heat away, the fans cant cool the core. The core gets hot very quickly, maybe quick enough to hold back the start up.

Sounds like you were in violation of the 5% rule, Donny. You are likely going to have to replace all that stuff now. Tough break.
