The boss just told me he's got an extra ticket for me to tomorrow night's Giants/Skins game. I have been to a few football games, but only one Giants game, and that was like 20 years ago. I am freaking pumped.

That's amazing. In that division every game counts Trife.. being a Bills fan I'm used to raucous tailgating, not sure if that's allowed in MD but I bet it's still a good time

yes, but my excitement is tempered..

i have a funny feeling he'll do good the first few games because defenses were prepared for RG3, but as a couple of games go on, they'll adjust for him and he won't do as well

That's a pretty typical trajectory for a competent backup. Guys like Scott Mitchell and Matt Flynn return to the bench just in time to still look good, then have there "won't do as well" games on big money contracts.

Actually that might not be fair to Mitchell, he had a huge year in 95 and everybody thought he would continue to earn the contract with that receiving corps.

I have returned home. No imbibing at the game, which makes for clearer memories of that MONUMENTAL ASS WHUPPING.

That was fantastic.

I have now attended 6 washington/ny games in 3 sports, and the ny team has won every time, including a triple OT playoff hocmey game at the phone booth.

Yeah, massive bye weeks for 3 of my fantasy teams, picked up Cousins in one league and the Redskins defense in another.

But I did pick up that Giants TE in another league, so I got that going for me.
