hmmm. if the earth stopped spinning, then it would probably implode upon itself because the only thing that is keeping us from going down the drain faster is the centrifugal force that is trying to expel us outward which is caused by the spinning of the planet around it's axis. don't think y'all ever did get around to explaining just exactly why gravity would be invented after the big bang. if matter wanted to be closer together, then it wouldn't have broken up in the first place.

Theoretical physics is one of my favorite subjects to read about.

I find it astonishing at how little we actually know. In essence we don't know anything as a matter of fact because facts are constantly being challenged and changed. It is a very mysterious universe we live in!

suppose that you could start by telling me that i need to read/watch my Cosmos books/ videos again, or perhaps grab my "Cambridge Atlas of Astronomy" and use it to bonk me on the head. it probably has enough weight for it to work properly. assuming that i correctly remembered the title of it. just don't hold it up in the air for too long because it might act as a speed brake and stop the earth from spinning and then it would implode.

i don't have a proper bed to deal with a forever spinning planet. only takes 1/2 a second for me to put a foot on the floor, then boom, the spinning stops. i will be needing many more virgin females and a bigger bed if you want me to keep the world spinning forever. and it's not my grocery cart. i use a hand basket. i'z too puny to carry home an entire grocery cart.
