Sucks as a commie I have to sell more than often as the price is fluxuating and get caught with pricing too high and stock not selling. What is going to be done with 422, that is less with the bots right?

apparently it was bots who sold bushels under 29 bucks (24-25 might been lowest) in the beginning of ffa set.

autobuy should have bought those before any standing orders.

autobuy?! Meaning the cheapest of the cheap aren't even available to players? Strange...

A little of both. I assumed autobuy only came into play if there were no SOs remaining and the price of the goods was below a predetermined point...Also, up to this point I thought autobuy was on the tech market(?)...

What's the logic behind it? What's wrong with the goods going to someone at a crazy low price?

autobuy is on whole public market not just on tech section.

standing orders start (are put up) on 1st day of set and end when set ends unless cancelled (unlikely especially after current change aka oil can be turned into units in priv market).

about autobuy logic you could ask from mehul since he "invented" it but i guess 1 part of it is to prevent transferring very cheap like 1 bucks mil units/bushels/oil barrels/techpoints to other player via market.

standing orders might catch those cheap things but not sure.

Now I feel like a newbie, so do we know the prices these are set at? I always assumed the market was pretty much open. Still honestly even with 5-6 sets into this orders stuff not sure how to use them effectively vs well I want to do stuff, lol.

it varies between other servers and express:

tech min is 1k on express others 500.

military mins are troops/jets/turrets/tanks 30/50/70/100.

bushels and oil mins are ~13.


military, bushels and oil should have same min price on all servers.

Seems like the addition of SOs make the market minimums obsolete. With all the SO's set, and the variation of when goods hit the market, you can't really plan who gets what. Luck of the draw (or sequence, depending on how you look at it).

not obsolete, even with sos you could still market transfer millions of bushels with 1 buck price and buyer would sell those at 40 and get hundreds of % profit, receiver of transfer just wouldn't get all of those bushels.

Yeah, but it's harder to target the buyer not knowing the order of the standing orders.

Also; I happen to like my rock. It's why I stay under it.

sos used to get shuffled that 1 player won't get all cheap stuff like 36 bucks bushels when price is 45.
