How much land do they come back with? %?

~17.4k acres country with ~260 defs gets ~6.3k acres

A landkilled country gets no restart bonuses

dunno about being landkilled since its been a long time when i did landkill last time and after that restart aid has been tweaked.

So if land killed they come back with nothing?

Prolly be the standard 100 acres as a normal start up.

I can answer this.... I was land killed last night and all my countries came back with about 400 acres in FFA

I believe there are minimums in the original restart changes.

Then it's better to land kill suiciders then fluff around with just killing them by gs or br

diminished returns would make it way too costy unless attackers are well packed with nukes (highly unlikely) and suicider has very low def (very likely) and also would require alot turns and humanitarians would most likely block attackers at some point.

if you want to spend fluffload of oil and possibly jets and turns to landkill 5k+ acres suicider then go ahead and do (actually try) it. i'll bet that you and your members will run out of turns before suicider is dead so turns etc wasted.

~250 turns to gs/br kill vs 500+ turns to landkill.

last time i did landkills it took 65 attacks to landkill 1.3k acres country.

it's probably way more expensive in terms of both resources and turns...

it takes a lot more turns to kill a country via LGs than it does nukes

killing a country via LGs will also take a fair amount of oil

sending nukes does not cost oil.

trying to kill a country with just nukes will not work since you cannot kill by nukes

so yeah killing by GS/BR will be way easier

not to mention NW and DRs getting in your way

The issue is a suicider like the one hitting MD and PDM will be killed I assume
But then as a restart he will logically continue to pick off the small or undefended of those tags.
If however the resources were spent on land killing him, then he would not be much of a threat except to new countries and other restarts

effectively immediately and on all servers we have implemented the following changes live:

When you restart after being killed in battle you get the following

100 acres, $25,000 cash
PLUS
1 acre + $3,000/turn played
PLUS
1 cs for every 10 turns played


so even landkilled gets something.
