"NCAA's annual revenue has increased every year since 2000-01. It was $912 million in 2012-13, of which about 80 percent comes from television. The NCAA has grown its net assets to$627 million"

Northwestern took the wrong approach in my opinion. Should have bargained for athletic financial allowance. You can class it by starters, bench, freshman. All payable after graduation. Have an outside governing body that regulates it.

northwestern went wrong when they thought they had enough pull with the NCAA to make a demand like that.

they arnt exactly bringing in the cash for the association like other schools.
