Tella eats baby seals at mod snack time. He also participated in this year dolphin slaughter in japan. Elves is only an elf and therefore a proven liar. Plus he is in imag. Bstring just plainly doesnt give two fluffs, even though he has a bucket full of fluffs to give.

It is advanced because I know when to not cross the line. It isn't conforming to rules, it is playing within. I have to know when the butthurt would be too strong and when the prostate needs stimulation. Calculating maybe, but calculations are pretty advanced for the level of intellect on these forums.

If there are posts that cross the line then just delete the posts. I do not believe threads that are generating activity and discussion should be closed as there is not much left as it is keeping people interested in this game.

It is a major failing within this game over the past 2 years where everyone is being forced to be nice to each other and as a result that which kept people interested in the game (drama, intrigue, action, emotion, passion and even hatreds) are being sucked out of it and there is nothing left.

Being a mod on here is not hard.

The problem is no mod is enforcing at least minimum standards of decorum. And when they do, they delete the entire thread rather than the individual offending posts and giving a temp ban to the user.

This forum has become a cesspool for hate and personal insults. That has nothing to do with "drama, intrigue...etc". All that stuff still exists.

It's kinda evolved to be a circlejerk at this point, but he was also a very strict mod that would shut down conversations before they even began. He seemed so heavyhanded at times it got kind of ridiculous.

You're right, he knew the community, and oftentimes would stop something early before it began, which was a good thing.

However I feel that sometimes he took things too far. For instance if he would shut something down for something really petty and people would ask why, that would get shut down immediately and threatened with a ban. He couldn't take criticism at all, and seemed to abuse his power at times.

He wasn't a terrible mod, but in that batch he was with, he was certainly the most strict and least friendly.

From what I remember, at least. It's been a long time, so my memory may be a bit rusty. Perhaps someone else who was around back then can chime in.

Modding fun fact: deleting a thread without explanation will create 1+ additional thread about the thing the thread was deleted for. You'll never end up with less threads by deleting threads, rule #106 of the internet :p

Mick was certainly a nice guy overall, at least from the majority of our interactions, but he did get fairly heavy-handed near the end of E2025. Didn't he also got SoL killed by the Vingthor bot from his modding on the FFA forums or was that just an excuse someone made up?

Mick was a complete psychopath. He went on a long rant on ICQ randomly one night about how he was the king of the moderators and I am expected to do what he says or GTFO. He also almost "married" an Internet girlfriend he had never met. Dude was a lot crazier than people realize.
