Flash flooding forced us to postpone a birthday dinner for my mother, and there were some evacuations in some areas, but on the whole, it hasn't been all that bad...

Nothing that standing for two hours in the rain bailing out water against the foundation/brick and then some ad hoc dirt grading to avoid the situation repeating itself couldn't fix.

Oh, it was raining pretty decent the whole time, after about 20 min just stripped down to skivvies and then enjoyed a nice warm shower after that.

This whole getting 2 months worth of rain in 12 hours needs to stop. Happended over Memorial Day and now again.

2 weeks after i moved into my house it flooded with 8 inches of water. we got 30 inches of rain in 2 days.

In the past three years of owning a home, I have come to quickly realize that water is the enemy of about everything a home is made out of. Obvious when you think about it just a bit, just never realized how big an enemy it is.

fix it. what kind of car is it? Some of the late 90s early 2000s cars with moon roofs had drainage channels that exited at each corner of the car. they can get clogged. they also cause a lot of trunk leaks.

That's appears to be what my problem was. Hopefully, it has already been fixed.
