Cruises hardly damage a country, specially if is got HIGH SDI, low land and low military, so Missile dumps only compare to Failed GS...
Missile Dumps vs Self DRing
Cruises = FAILED GS (and when they do break you are annoyed by the result "meh My readiness dropped", just like a GS that only kills civs)
Chems = Failed BR/AB (and when they do break oh boy)
Nukes = Failed Nukes (and when too many of them break, you die)
Missile Dumps don't compare to Self Farming (maybe for people like Rockman), but do compare to DRing...
Would be interesting to use this as a tactic for war, I can already see the possibilities of preparing for a FS while getting 1 huge country and using it as a cruise dump.
You are looking at the results from a netting standpoint. But I clearly stated that missile dumps are used for the purpose of the warring charts, not the netting charts.
I guess that is the difference, that they are as different as night and day.
Both are mutually beneficial, but one benefits netters, the other benefits warmongers. And that is the only difference between them, but thats enough to make it night and day.
So what it boils down to is that someone can complain about self-farming while using missile dumps because its only okay to exploit game mechanics in unintended ways to your own advantage if you're exploiting them for warring purposes.
You guys just don't seem to get it. I'm not saying that missile dumps are a netgaining strategy, but you think I'm too fluffing dumb to know anything about war.
