he had way more land than me and i had 3m+ jets and he had 1.5m turrets. usually it would be a bad idea to make that attack!!! but his DR was 75 so he didn't care, top feed away, and he's a tyrant too so his fun little expeditions from within his cocoon of DR are hits for 2k+ acres. did it to me and STEEL and Orion, all for 2k+, when retals take like 200. this warrants a deletion for sure, it's obvious DR abuse. anyway i pancaked him. so who was it

Haha, of course it was you. Look, it's DR abuse. You didn't ask for it, but when you take that 75 DR and use it to attack people who can retal without even buying a jet, simply because you know you're protected by your 75 DR, that's abusing DR badly. And you did it not just to me but to several others, stealing lots of land with your tyrant country, when it was impossible for us to get it back despite you being an easy break.

That's not fair, it's abusing DR. If you hadn't hit me a second time you might have finished near the top doing that.

I have no intention of finishing near the top because my country is screwed with low techs/ABed and #164 has 4% warfare.

Just grab normally instead of going 5m jets/1m turrets and topfeeding guys you can tell can easily retal. That's abusing your DR. If you're using your DR to protect you instead of turrets, that's abusing your DR. No one AB'd you until I did. By then you already had 25k land! Your tech wasn't great but you were in position for a pretty high score. NOW you won't score anywhere, true, cuz now you've been AB'd and have 0 c-sites. If I hadn't done that who knows where you might have got.

You cant call that abuse, call that making good use of the situation. Why would you continue to run 1:1 jet/turret ratio knowing that even if people grab/retal you, they are not going get good returns? It would be stupid to do so, right?

Because there's a known DR issue on this server and exploiting it is DR abuse and (probably) against the rules.

They should do something about DR in express. They should just remove it, like, GS/AB/BR doesnt put you into DR. Solves everything.

Yea, this is annoying. As the owner of the orion country I had to grab two all x cashers who cant retal to make up for the loss.

Now if you could've just hit those cashers yourself I wouldn't have had the cost of rebuilding lol

blid, i do this every early game. i run low defense and land and go into heavy dr, then when i'm ready i come out with big all explores and hold less turrets than i otherwise might have to. (i do obviously eventually buy up, once dr is over/close to over)

or is it my lack of landgrabbing that would make my example kosher?

I'm pretty sure you set it but you should've been deleted. The record was in the 40,000s but was definitely not as high as you went. But you got there 100% by abusing game mechanics announced as flawed and doing something others have been deleted for before.
