Since I have moved to Florida, I have been deprived of real cheesesteaks. There are lots of pizza and sub shops here that have it on their menu, but it's NOT the real deal.
Pet peeve #1 about it: The Rolls here SUCK hard. They tell me that it's the water that causes the major difference in the rolls. Might be, not a bakery expert so can't really tell.
Per peeve #2 about it: In Philly, they only put swiss cheese on the thing if you specifically ask for it. Otherwise, it's American Cheese, and if it's a really good shop, it's Cooper Sharp American Cheese.
Pet peeve #3 about it: They use that "Steak-ummm" crap instead of using rib-eye.
I am so missing a good cheesesteak. :(
