Omega are netters, but won't hesitate to do something for themselves if they need to. They don't get others to do their work for them.

We did what we were told. We're sorry we offended OMEGA and their masters, Paradigm, last set. We're noobs, and had no idea we were going to be forever harassed if we don't act as their hands and feet. This injustice isn't just towards poor Josey who couldn't find the Cooperation server, but us as well. We just wanted some good action, but some people just have bigger cliques and bully with their numbers.

Despite all the back and forth ive participated in, I hate watching the game slowly lose long time players.

With Alliance leaders sitting around on social media trynna build a woke community, what do you expect?
With each passing set, we move further away from the game's original intent and leave the bot hitters to guide the Alliance server future.
It's 2025 and I would ask is to give the Alliance server two sets WITHOUT bots and see how it goes.

So far as I can tell, this isn't a slow loss.

What is the issue with some alliances grabbing bots and netting if they aren't hitting other players? I have been gone for years so maybe I am missing something.

I ran a war alliance in E2025 and land was an issue, but I am enjoying netting here for a change. If that wasn't an option, I probably wouldn't play. There just isn't the time for that especially with the diminishing player numbers.

Thanks for letting me live in your head. (rent free) I joined a war strat game in 1998. The past few sets have seen the game change in many ways and, with the changes, have seen a drastic decline in players. I have been hoping, after watching recent sets, that there would be an attempt to return the game towards its original concepts.
Last set I hit live countries and accepted 1:1 retals. was a fun set. This set, SOL decided to net. Thought I would roll out after this set but wanted to see the excitement that comes with hitting bots. Yeah, I let bots build me up this set just incase someone went stupid on SOL....then I could have had more fun.
Never had to hide my country. Always used "Suicidal". Why do you hide yours?
I express an opinion on AT and the Aholes have to respond to make it personal.....the same folks that no one wanted to pick them to be on their Elementary School Kickball Team. Grow up.

Going to be honest, I enjoyed taking retals on you when you grabbed us a couple of sets back.
I'm actually not opposed personally to some level of grabbing and retalling, within reason.
IN MY OPINION, it leads to inter clan relations as FA's chat to each other, and induvidual players do so as well via ingame messages and the like.
That said, excessive grabbing does lead to bad blood.

Ironically, when there was large amounts of land trading going back ohhh probably a decade or so now? people got pissy that clans were grabbing and retalling each other in a friendly and relaxed manner.

There are a variety of ways to play the game, and the scores are based on final NW, rather than attacks etc.

I started playing in the 1900s too. Mehul's description called it a s_t_r_a_t_e_g_y game, with economic marketplay, diplomacy, and fighting your enemies. Tools to use to reach the goal of top ranks, measured in networth. My beef has not been about war, but about vandalism. Attacking just to ruin someone's set, knowing you will be unceremoniously killed, with no other goal. That's a suck-ass way to play the game. and after killing the vandals a few times omg it's boring for the rest of the set. Is that the vandals goal? to bore us?

At least when netting, to do it right, every turn you play is strategic and has implications for your goal right up to and including the last day of the set. Making the most of the game mechanics to attain that nw goal. That competition can be exciting. Too bad you never wanted to try the basic core concept of the game. Netting. You might have enjoyed it.

Country names? Should we have a poll, why do 95% of the players change their names? must be because they're hiding! lol I've had a theme to mine for years. Not hiding. Players that know me find me by my country name nearly every set. I even gave redx a big hint at my name this set, went over his head.
But country names, yeah, it's called a choice.

huh? as if there exists fear, or courage, in an anonymous online text based game? Don't get carried away with manufactured drama, my fellow Earther.

Drows correct and yes we often can “prove” it as at the end of the round we can see who “done” it. Plus for others who say to do it, they just don’t want caught at the end of the day, it can be found out. So yes, drow is right about that. Land grabbing to land grab is part of the game at times even with bots to choose from. But hitting non bots def increases the chances you’ll be hit back and grabbing someone 2, 3 or 4 times will get you dead, as most have friends they run with. Can’t be shocked someone not a bot hits them is killed for more than a double tap especially if you’re untagged. Join a clan. If you’re netting or need to learn the politics of the game start with bots then if you choose real people expect to be killed now and then.

But as a new or returning member, you’ll find out the hard way. Join a clan yo learn a little. Paradigm, Monsters, evo, and omega will help with netting. Mercs, sol, cwg will teach you war with some netting. But paradigm and monsters will help big time. (W evo or omega)

I remember your name I think. On the other hand, there are some clans that don’t have very much patience. Some clans have discord channels that are naughty and mouthy. Others are well others say that they’re accepting everybody or accepting of everybody which used to be true and is no longer.)

Just have fun. Pdm (paradigm) has some excellent teachers who finish great teachers with high rankings. But again so is monsters, evo and omega.

Play around with it, find some decent and honest to explain the politics. Ultimately it’s choice. Or skip my advice and hit everyone lol l you’ll get accused of “making people quit” after 6 years back in leadership roles, we always would hear “it’s a dying game” 6 years later it’s still going.

Ps. Yes anyone saying or whining that u you II suicide on them for 1-2 land grabs is stupid. But I do agree with drow, saying Simon’s to tell you to do something in this game is like nah nah jump off this bridge. Most ppl here are 35-85 lol so an excuse of “well someone made me or told me” is not gonna fly on this server. Maybe join any tag for awhile and learn the politics, and etiquette , I was a leader and I made a ton of mistakes. Just remember forgiveness isn’t easy in this middle age senior citizen game. Long memories here. lol
